Our client is looking to expand the Business Intelligence and Reporting team in order to continue to offer a high level of service to their client base.

You will be responsible for: 

Listening to client’s reporting needs and agreeing possible solutions both within and against the data contained in Dynamics and other systems.   
Developing custom and ‘prebuilt’ reporting solutions utilising a combination of tools that include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Jet Reports and Jet Analytics.
Developing additional fields and measures to existing Analysis Services cubes
Advising and assisting clients with acceptance testing and data preparation
Ensure they use accurate and secure methods to reliably extract data
Estimating the time required to complete specified tasks
Constructing and testing solutions for specified tasks
Providing second line post-sales support for the solutions you and/or the team have built 
Where required, training the user’s community on using our solutions 
Assisting in presales questions to best match capabilities with client’s needs

Our client is a Microsoft Partner specialising in the Dynamics Business Application set. As most of the BI and Reporting will be against these applications, they will expect you to have or gain detailed knowledge of their data structures (training will be provided).

They use Microsoft Power BI as the foundation for a lot of the solutions they develop but due to client preference, multi-dimensional Analysis Services cubes, Jet Reports and Jet Analytics within Microsoft Excel are also reporting tools in frequent use. 

You will be expected to learn the above products and services and a willingness to improve and maintain that proficiency is required.  
Ultimately, you’ll help to support and contribute to an expanding area of consulting within the business.

Requirements

You will be expected to learn or have some experience of:
Excellent Excel skills 
Familiarity with using or more, a Business intelligence tool (Power BI, Qlik or Tableau) 
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Skills in statistics and reporting as well as problem solving. 
An exemplary instinct to listen then communicate.

Our client, a global software company seeks a Product Owner / Business Analyst, remote working for now, then office-based 2-3 days per week in the future when it’s safe to do so.

Description

In the role of Product Owner you will:
- Work closely together with implementation consultants and help them in re-engineering their customer business needs against the product offering.
- Gather requirements in close collaboration with customers.
- Make new analyses in order to extend the functionalities in the solution offering. You will translate business requirements into product specifications detailing enhancements and extensions to the product.
- Monitor and be aware of regulatory changes which may impact product and customers
- Manage the backlog and define user stories 
- You will be responsible for and participate in the full development process from requirements gathering, analysis and development to testing and documentation
- You will work together with development and quality assurance team members in order to deliver high quality software, on time and within budget.
- Represent the company being a key point of contact in relation with customers
- Organize and participate in regular customer status meetings
- Describe how the product should be configured to support the customer's re-engineered processes
- Handle customer calls and incidents in collaboration with involved parties
- Monitor customer adoption and satisfaction and report on it to the management

Required Skills

- Degree in (Business) Economics or IT, or equivalent through experience
- Strong ability to abstract and to translate business requirements in IT
- At least 3 years¿ experience with at least one of the following:
- Creation of functional analyses based upon a high level scope definition
- Application(s) with a 3 tier development structure
- Knowledge of banking is an asset
- Experience in managing projects focused on digital solutions, processes and/or digital products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Eager to travel on a regular basis outside your home country when required

Responsibilities

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic part-time Product Designer designer with a friendly and ambitious software company based in central London, a 10 minute walk from Angel Tube, great canal-side location. (Working remotely has been the norm for the entire staff since the pandemic began.)


The Job


The successful candidate will join the agile software development team as a missionary product designer and will come to play a key role in ensuring that they deliver great software to customers.
This Product Designer role will mostly have UI aspects but there will be some UX work too. Working in "three-in-a-box" together with the Product Manager and the Head of Technology will be a regular aspect of the job.
This position is for two days a week on a permanent basis.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a self-disciplined, conscientious person who has a great eye for design and love following design trends across the industry. The perfect candidate is someone who is looking for a long term opportunity with room to grow their engagement with the product.
They will have great communication skills, be inquisitive and curious, with a nose for designing fantastic looking products that are a joy to use.
They will ideally have at least five years of experience working as a UI or UX designer on both web-based and mobile-based applications.
They are expected to show a portfolio of web and mobile designs across multiple channels.

An excellent opportunity exists for a Business Development Executive with a rapidly growing software company based in central London, a 10 min walk from Angel Tube, great canal-side location.

Our client is looking for a confident, motivated individual to join their commercial team, supporting the European sales team and a growing portfolio of 200+ international clients. Our client is more than just a market leading supplier of software and they pride themselves on building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

You will be responsible for managing strategic lead generation campaigns, identifying ‘best fit’ customers for product and providing sales ready opportunities to the business development team. You will also contribute to the annual sales target by delivering product demonstrations and carrying a personal sales quota, developing your skills across the full sales cycle.

You will often be the first point of contact for potential new clients and will thrive on talking to a range of people, across the B2B environment. You will be motivated to pick up the phone, understand prospects business and requirements and won’t be phased by rejection.

You should have an active interest in both their industry and technology and enjoy communicating and building relationships. You will become an expert in their market leading software platform, gain industry experience, and develop commercially valuable skills working across a variety of sectors.

Our client, a leading manufacturer of consumer products in the Midlands, has an urgent vacancy for an Operations Manager / General Manager.


The Role:


Reporting directly to the Managing Director this position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Warehouse/Transport/IT /Inventory functions as well as having overall responsibility for the site management. 

Responsibilities:

This person will have overall responsibility for;• The complete warehousing/logistics function within the business – this includes the company’s in-house fleet of vehicles• Stock Control/Inventory within the company• The IT function across the business• Full facilities management of a large site

Key competencies:

The candidate will ideally• Be process and system driven – this person needs to be able to work within existing systems in the business whether this be IT, Inventory, Warehouse or Logistics. Specific system knowledge is not essential• Have strong IT experience – PHP programming knowledge would be useful but not essential. The company operates Sage 1000• Be able to set and manage the operational strategy of the site in conjunction with the Management Team, foster a strong team ethos and have the ability to drive process improvements• Demonstrate skills in working collaboratively and encouraging high performance through teamwork• Display a proven track record of delivering results and persistence when faced with challenges

Responsibilities include:

 Planning
    Estimate development effort for assigned tasks

Reporting into one of the Development Team Leaders, Senior Web Developers are responsible for designing, developing, modifying and maintaining the range of Web applications / Software products.
To become a key member of the Development team you will need to have strong development skills, be hard working and be able to fit in well with a small team.

Responsibilities

To understand the industry requirements of the customer base and develop a thorough understanding of how those requirements are met by product range.
To propose and assess solutions to design problems, including identifying and evaluating new technologies and third party components.
To develop software according to published standards and guidelines, including coding standards and user interface design guidelines.

Good working knowledge of T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server (2008 onwards) and relational database design
Ability to write and optimize T-SQL queries
Experience of Object Oriented programming practices
An awareness of security concerns
An understanding of security considerations when designing and developing public-facing applications.
Knowledge and experience of enterprise scale Web Applications
Experience mentoring less experienced developers
